• specify checkin wordcount does not count outline and the wordcount must consist entirely of prose
• specify that all checkin writing must be in english, you are not allowed to write in antoher language and submit a machine translated work.
• If you are very picky about what kind of gift you receive or can make, THIS IS NOT THE EVENT FOR YOU.
• Swapping is for emergencies ONLY.
• For the 2025 event, not everyone who joins will get in. We expect to have around ~120 signups and a little over 100 final participants.
• Word count has been reduced from 3000 to 2500.
• Prompts this year must either: work for both art and fic equally, or must have at least 3 prompts applicable for art AND3 prompts available for fic.
• You cannot choose whether you get art or fic. You can say you'd prefer one or the other, but we can't guarantee anything.
• You must actually have some sort of theme for your prompt besides ship/character and continuity.
• Reply deadlines have been shortened from a week to five days.
• You cannot have prompts only for very obscure continuities or characters or harsh kinks. This makes matching a nightmare.
• We have made a new form to make matching easier.
• Anyone who fills in the form with obvious things that aren't allowed in the rules (e.g.: OCs, x reader, non-tf crossovers) will not be allowed to participate.
• New form must have the following so that the excel formula can spit stuff out right: Preferred name/username, one single main social media link plus a section for whatever other ones they want that we wont need for the formulae(just to hound them if they ghost), a column where we put the link to their posted gift
